Yes subtasks can be moved to another issue type in Jira. You can do that using the bulk edit feature.

Dependencies in #Jira can be managed by creating an issue link of a specific type and using the right direction - inward or outward. Apart from that use Advanced Roadmaps, Automation rules or other apps like BigPicture or Structure to do further things with those links

Basic #roadmaps in #Jira #Software projects are really good but they have limited functionality. You cannot filter them by status, instead create your own #quick #filter in your board that works in backlog and active sprint view.

Issue #creator will be added as a #watcher of the issues automatically however you can either write a script listener or disable #autowatch own issues globally for all users.

Jira #Components are project specific and if you want to move it to another project then simply create one with the same name. I have some scripts that might help.
